The Asset Tracking module allows you to quickly and easily build a complete asset register ensuring you know exactly what you have and where it is located. Using a simple handheld data collector to collect data into an easy to complete customisable asset form on-screen means that there is no input error when typing up reports later.

Asset tracking helps to keep your balance sheet in order as well as allowing you to produce many customisable reports providing asset history, details of missing assets, asset locations and many more to suit your company's needs.

The Asset Tracking module provides user-definable depreciation methods across any period or range of periods, with definitions by asset, asset group or period of account.

When used in conjunction with our Asset Management Software module you can easily manage your assets' preventative maintenance scheduling. Preventative maintenance is important to ensure your assets maintain safe working condition as well as helping to reduce breakdowns. Regular maintenance can also help maximise uptime,
increasing productivity and profitability.

Our PPM module will also allow you to create maintenance checklists that are associated with your asset types. This will allow a field engineer to be guided through the maintenance process collecting the data as he works.

This information can then be seamlessly transmitted back to the management module using batch, wireless or GPRS, providing real-time data from any location.

If one of your assets fail it may be necessary for a support call to be placed to action repair. G-SMart Assets Support Call Logging module allows a user to select the asset from the asset register and instantly log a fault with the helpdesk. Whether the asset is within the company's control or loaned out to another site, the user simply enters the unique asset ID into the user friendly web page and enters the fault detail.

This information is then transferred back to the management module and an open support request is made. Notes can be kept regarding the progress of the call and its current status displayed.

G-SMart Assets Engineer Tracking module uses GPS technology to allow you to track all of your engineers' locations at any time.
The system uses the built in GPS transmitter from the handheld device meaning no additional hardware is required.

When used in conjunction with the Support Call Logging module you can quickly ascertain which engineer is closest to a open support request and redirect them to the job via the handheld device.

Engineer tracking will also allow you to set up GeoFence zones with alarms to notify if an engineer goes out of a certain designated area. Other additional advantages are alarms for speeding, helping you manage your duty of care to the public.
